Hiking in Nalles

To Pfeffersburg Castle in Unterkasatsch: Start out from the town hall in Nalles and walk in the direction of Stachelburg. Cross the bridge over the Grissianerbach creek and follow path no. 2 up to the Unterkasatsch Restaurant (closed). Nearby you will find the ruins of Pfeffersburg Castle.

From Nalles to Prissiano: Start out from the town hall in Nalles and walk in the direction of Stachelburg. Cross the bridge over the Grissianerbach creek and follow path no. 2 up to the Unterkasatsch Restaurant (closed). Nearby you will find the ruins of Pfeffersburg Castle. Then either walk along the road or follow hiking trail no. 2 up to Prissiano.

From Nalles to Tesimo: Start out from the town hall in Nalles and walk in the direction of Stachelburg. Cross the bridge over the Grissianerbach creek and follow path no. 2 up to the Unterkasatsch Restaurant (closed). Nearby you will find the ruins of Pfeffersburg Castle. Follow the road or take hiking trail no. 2 up to the Vorbichl Adventure Path (biotope) and on to St. Christoph's Church. Path no. 1 will take you to Tesimo.

Nalles – Sirmiano di Sotto – Nalles circular route: Start off at the town hall in Nalles, walking down Goldgasse, but turn off straight away into Drahtersteig and then into Nachtigallensteig path. Follow the no. 9 markers, which partially take you along the old path along wooded slopes and partially along the road to Sirmiano up the hill in the direction of Sirmiano di Sotto. Pass Payersberg Castle and then turn left down a forest path in the direction of Bittnerhof inn. Take the Pitzonerweg path to return to Nalles.

Follow the no. 9 markers, which partially take you along the old path along wooded slopes and partially along the road to Sirmiano up the hill in the direction of Sirmiano di Sotto. Then take forest path no. 9 upwards to Sirmiano di Sopra and St. Apollonia Church.

From Nalles to Prissiano via St. Jacob’s Church and Grissiano Start off at the town hall in Nalles, walking down Goldgasse, but turn off straight away into Drahtersteig and then into Nachtigallensteig path. Follow the no. 9 markers, which partially takes you along the old path along wooded slopes and partially along the road to Sirmiano up the hill in the direction of Sirmiano di Sotto. Then take forest path no. 9 upwards to Sirmiano di Sopra and St. Apollonia Church. Continue upwards for a short while, following the no. 8 markers until you reach St. Jacob's Church in Grissiano. Continue along the forest path to Prissiano and follow the signposts along route no. 2 to return to Nalles via Kasatsch.

Follow the no. 9 markers, which partially takes you along the old path along wooded slopes and partially along the road to Sirmiano up the hill in the direction of Sirmiano di Sotto. Then take forest path no. 9 upwards to Sirmiano di Sopra and St. Apollonia Church. From Nalles, take route no. 8 to Gaido and then to Bittnerhof inn via the Larchsteig path. The Pitzonerweg path will take you back to Nalles.

Bittnerhof inn – Gaido circular route: Start off at the town hall in Nalles, walking down Goldgasse, but turn off straight away into Drahtersteig and walk on to Schlossgasse path. Pass the church and continue to Schwanburg Castle. Turn left into the Pitzonerweg path and continue to Bittnerhof inn. Then take the Sattelweg path to Gaido and return to Bittnerhof via the Larchsteig path, then continue to Nalles.
