Admission Requirements

• For PhD studies: A bachelor degree in a relevant discipline assessed as equivalent to at least an Honours degree second class division A (H2A, >70%) at the UoA.

• For Master degree: H2B

• International: English Proficiency Evidence (IELTS, TOEFL)

• Availability of Supervisor

Finding a PhD/MPhil supervisor

The PhD Candidature: Milestones

• Core components (6 months)- Communication workshops- Inductions (School, Uni, Library, OHS)- Research Proposal

• Major Review (12 months)

• Annual Reviews of Progress

• Thesis submission

• Examination

Total duration: 3-4 years for PhD2-2.5 years for MPhil
