Made in Germany.

A tour of our production lines in Heilbronn or Luckau show: man and machine work

together, hand in hand. WOLFFKRAN’s long tradition in the crane manufacturing

industry stands for its worldwide unparalleled know-how. As for example in our unique

welding shop, which is characterized by highest-precision craftsmanship. The same

applies to the drilling machines, where the WOLFF giants – with an accuracy of 5/100 mm

(the thickness of a human hair!) – receive the boreholes for their typical pin connections.

Alongside steel construction, the field of electrical engineering is becoming increasingly

important. For this reason, WOLFFKRAN fits all its switch cabinets with the highly reliable

and precise electronic PROFIBUS controls only. Finally in the paint shop, the cranes receive

their typical WOLFF red color – one of our trademarks – with our very own clean, lead-free

mixture made especially for WOLFFKRAN.

Before setting of on their journey to construction sites around the world, all new

WOLFF cranes are subjected to rigorous tests for functionality and a final inspection in

our stockyards outside of the production halls.

Cranesational since 1854.

The stories about and around WOLFFKRAN and its many innovations easily fill an entire muse-

um of technology. Originally founded as an iron foundry in Heilbronn, the company WOLFF soon

began to concentrate on lifting and hoisting devices.

In 1913 WOLFF then sets a decisive milestone: it presents the world’s first fast-assembly,

mobile, top-slewing tower crane at the Leipzig Exhibition. This crane type quickly shapes the

construction sites of its time – its modular construction and its enormous flexibility and

tremendous lifting capacity make it the ideal construction machine. Thus WOLFFKRAN helped

to build the face of the modern era: the main station in Milan, the Aswan Dam, the Säntis Station

in Switzerland, the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, De Rotterdam in the Netherlands, the Wembley

Stadium in London, Stonecutters Bridge in Hong Kong, 3 World Trade Center in New York

as well as numerous large scale projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia – the list is

long and fascinating.

WOLFFKRAN offers all stakeholders comprehensive and thorough support. Project planners will

find encompassing technical information and CAD data of all our crane models on our internet

portal wolffkran.com. Alternatively they can opt to configure cranes directly online by using our

crane configurator. In case tailored solutions are required, our technical support department will

be ready to assist. Assemblers and service technicians from across the world can enhance their

knowledge and skills in assembly, climbing and electrical engineering in the WOLFF School of

Cranes. And thanks to our new WOLFF Link portal, fleet managers have access to real-time crane
