Who Established AOTS?

Differences in religion, philosophy, culture and social systems have been respected. The experience of living together at our training centers has facilitated mutual understanding among the residents. All are designed to pursue holistic harmony. He said “ Regardless of our standpoints, we are all human beings. It is possible to wholly understand the personality of each other on a person- to-person basis. “

HIDA Bangkok Office serves as the secretariat of AEM-METI Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC).

METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan) and HIDA together start a new industrial HRD program in ASEAN.

(Prime Minister’s Speech)

“Industrial HRD Cooperation Initiative” of Prime Minister Japan.

1 ) Speech at the ASEAN Business Investment Summit (21 Nov, 2015, KL)Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe proposed the “Industrial HRD Cooperation Initiative”, supporting industrial HRD in Asia as many as 40,000 people over the next 3 years.

[ Point of the Industrial HRD Cooperation Initiative ]a )Develop Human Resources with practical skills

( e.g. Design, Product development, Innovation capacity, Management ).

b) Train government officials responsible for industrial policies ( e.g. Infrastructure development ).

c) Improving basic education (e.g. Mathematics, Science )

2 ) Realization of the Prime Minister’s initiative AMEICC Supplementary budget : To realize the initiative, METI has allocated supplementary budget of 2.5 billion yen ( approx. US$ 21 million ) to AMEICC for industrial HRD in ASEAN.
