Sensor Switches turn the lights on and off for you. It's a simple and easy way to save energy and add light automation to your room. These sensor switches turn the lights on when you enter the room and automatically turns it off after you leave. Motion Sensors perceive even the slightest change in motion within the detection zone and release appropriate switch on/off commands to the accompanying lights. Whereas, a Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR sensor) is an electronic sensor that measures infrared light radiating from objects in its field of view. Häfele introduces two new sensor switches, a PIR Door Sensor Switch and an IR Door Sensor Switch to its range of sensors. > IR door sensor switch senses the door movement and switches the light on and off accordingly. When you open the door within the sensor range, the IR door sensor automatically switches on the light and as you close the door beyond the sensor distance the light automatically switches off

Installation way two: open slot in the panel and wiring

INSTALLATION OF SENSOR SWITCHES: Recess Mounting

As shown in the image below drill one hole (Ø 13.5 mm X depth 15 mm) at the top of the cabinet near the door opening and another hole (through hole Ø 12 mm) in the roof. Take the switching power supply through these drilled holes and then out through the roof, to install the switch.

As shown in the picture drill a hole of (Ø 13.5 mm x depth 15 mm) for the sensor and one wire way (width 9.8 x depth 8 mm) for the cable at the base of the cabinet, then open an 8 mm outlet hole in the backboard. Take the cable along through the wire way to the outlet and then install the switch

Installation way one: drilling in the roof

Male Connector Female Connector

NOTE: Separate the male and female connector, plug male connector through the roof, then connect the female connector. The procedure is the same for both the sensor switches, only the dimensions will differ.

As shown in the image, fix the clip at top of the cabinet near the door opening and make a threaded hole of Ø 12 mm. Now, plug the male connector through the roof and then connect the female connector to the male connector. Fix the switch to the clip and the switch controller to the roof.

MAINTENANCE: The external flexible cable or cord of this light cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the light will be destroyed. Different materials require different

types of fittings. Always choose screws and plugs that are specially suited to the material. Use a dry cloth. Do not use strong cleaning agents.
