The Problem(Opportunity)

1. Hemorrhagic Septicemia (HS) is a dangerous diseases2. It is very fast spreading and has a high mortality rate

so it is hard to control.3. It is widely spread all over the country so we must

treat it seriously as the mortality rate due to this diseases is 85-95%.

4. This project will also give us a chance to create awareness in the small holders that they must take serious steps for the medical treatment of their animals.

Vision and Mission

1. By reducing the HS cases we can reduce the mortality rate of the animals.

2. Can get rid of financial and productive losses.3. Better and increased supply of milk and

meat.4. Helping the small holders which are long

Theory of Change

1. The project will help the small holders by vaccinating their animals at low price than that of market.

2. Get rid of quacks and untrained livestock assistants working in the filed.

3. Educate the small holders and tell them about some common diseases and precautionary measures.

4. This will bring an increase in animal productivity through farmer’s awareness.

The Solution

1. Vaccination is the main service to be provided at farmer’s doorstep.

2. Farmer’s education for the prevention and cure of the HS and other diseases.

3. Key activities include vaccination at reduce cost and farmer’s education cum training at farmer’s doorstep.

4. Some private veterinarian and technicians and quacks present in villages are already doing this work

5. Our motto is to facilitate the small holder at low cost than the quacks and improperly trained technicians.

1. Cost per dosage per animal 12 PKR2. Transportation Charges(Will depend on the number of

animals present in the specified area and distance)3. A bike for field work.4. Miscellaneous (Repairing, Fuel Charges, Syringes,

Gloves, Diagnosis Purpose etc.)5. All sum approx 74000 PKR6. The fee collected from farmers will be reused for the

purchase of vaccines and medicines for future animal treatment .
