Are you sick of looking at the same old boring desktop? Do you want something that represents you or something you like? I will show you how to personalize your desk top to fit your needs!

Step 1: Find or create the image you would like to use for your desktop background.

a. Find an image you like on google or bing. b. Create an image using word, paint, photo collage or photoshop.

a. If you use word, you have to transfer it to paint or photoshop to be able to save it as a jpeg.

For this Step I made an image using a Photo Collage app.

Step 2: Once you have your image made Make sure you save it in pictures under the file explore tab.

Step 3: Once you know it is saved by checking the folder like it is above, you can close the file explorer and make sure you are at your desktop.

Step 4: On your desktop you are going to right-click to bring up a box with options for right-clicking.

Step 5: From that prompt box you will move your mouse to the personalize section and left-click it, to get to the menu you desire.

Step 6: Once you’re at the personalized menu you are going to want to make sure you are on the Background tab and make sure you click the down arrow to say picture.

Step 7: Once you have the Picture option selected from the down arrow you will want to click on browse to find the image you saved or the image you created; once you click browse it will bring you to the file manager to look for your image, so don’t be alarmed.

Step 8: Once you find your image click it to make sure it is highlighted than click Choose Picture in the bottom right-hand corner of the file explorer.

Step 9: Once you click Choose Picture it will bring you back to the personalized menu; from there you minimize that to see what your picture looks like, to see if you need to make changes.

Step 10: As you can see from the image above I have black side bars next to my picture and that is not appealing to myself. You can change that by clicking the gear (the personalize menu) to bring it back to your screen.

Step 11: Once you bring that box back up you can click the down arrow that says Center to find a different option that works best for you and the image you have saved/created.

Step 12: For my background image I chose Tile because it makes my image less distorted and I don’t mind it being a double image. Again click what choice works best for you and your image.
