The airport shuttle of MyCiTi service is currently running between the Civic Centre Station in central Cape Town and the Airport Station, which is outside the arrivals terminal at Cape Town International Airport.

The bus departs every 20 minutes from both stations, and tickets are on sale at the kiosks inside.

The trip takes about the same time, or slighty less, than in a prive car, as follows:- Morning peak (direction City): about 20-30 minutes - Afternoon peak (direction Airpot): about 45-55 minutes - Other times of the day or in opposite directioon to peak hour congestion: about 15-20 minutes (sbuject to delays).

This list tells you about which seafood species are legal and more sustainable choices. The species included on the list have been assessed by consider-ing the stock status, the environmental effects of fishing and the management in place to reduce these effects or maintain the stock at healthy levels.

Note that some fishing and farming methods pose less harm to the environment than others. For instance, line or pole caught methods are relatively selective and don’t kill unintended species such as albatrosses. Although some forms of seafood farming can reduce pressure on over-exploited wild stocks this is only the case if wild fish don’t need to be fed to the farmed fish or if the production method doesn’t further degrade the environment.

THE OLD CITY HALLBuilt in 1905, the old City Hall in Darling Street is a mixture of Italian Renaissance and British colo-nial architecture. It is located on the Grand Parade to the west of the Castle of Good Hope and is built from honey-colored limestone imported from Bath in England. The 60m/200ft high bell-tower, with a carillon installed in 1923, was modeled on London’s Big Ben. The City Hall was the last major Victorian building to be erected in Cape Town.

The City Hall’s carillon was installed as a WW1 war memorial, with 22 additional bells being added in 1925 with the visit of the Prince of Wales. Mag-nificent and imposing, the City Hall commemorates Kind Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, with its mosaic floors, marble staircase, stained glass win-dows and specially designed organ with 3165 pipes.

Inshore fishing is a great way to catch fish and, as the name suggests, involves fishing close to the shore. This type of fishing is quite popular in Cape Town and with Cape Sea Safaris, you will enjoy a world class experience. Deep Sea Fishing can be enjoyed all year round in Cape Town with Yellowfin tuna usually arriving in large numbers between March and June and again from October to December. These fish can weigh between 50 and 120kg and are found in the deep waters so tuna fish-ing usually takes a full day.
