prepare a place for you”

Jesus Christ Is

In Heaven

Two apostles, Paul and John were privileged to view

heaven. In the great Book of Revelation, John recorded his vision of heaven and how that he saw the King on His throne

Rev 4:1-4 “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was

opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come…”

Rev 4:1-4 “…up hither, and I will shew thee things which

must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the

spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and…”

Rev 4:1-4 “…one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and

a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like…”

Rev 4:1-4 “…unto an emerald. 4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats:

and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment…

Paul, on the other hand, was caught up into

heaven but was forbidden to tell what he had seen (2 Cor. 12:4)

2 Cor 12:4 “How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a

man to utter”

Phil 1:23-24 “For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ;

which is far better. Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more

needful for you”

Col 3:1 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above,

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God”

Rev 3:12 “Him that overcometh will I make a

pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the

name of my God, and…”

Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my

God Is In Heaven

Deut 26:15 “Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless

thy people Israel”

Eccl 5:2 “Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be

hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and

thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few”

Rev 11:13 “And the same hour was there a great

earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the

earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and…

Rev 11:13 … the remnant were affrighted, and gave

glory to the God of heaven”

Rev 18:4-5 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my

people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that

ye receive not of her…”

Faithful servants of God from ages past

will be in heaven

Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven”

1 Thes. 4:13-18 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye

sorrow not, even as others which have no hope...

Infants and all not accountable for sin will be in

heaven

Matt 19:14 “But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and

forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven”

2 Sam 12:23 “But now he is dead, wherefore should I

fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me”

Just knowing who will be in heaven should be enough to cause one to

want to go there

James 5:11“Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy”
