The Meridian CV control system is designed to con-trol up to 30 single zone, constant volume HVACunits. For systems with more than 30 single zoneconstant volume units, the CV-EX control system isavailable which will allow 60 single zone units on thesystem, and 30 more with each CV-EX Loop Expan-sion Kit. Up to two CV-EX Loop Expansion Kits canbe added for a total system maximum of 120 singlezone constant volume units being controlled on thesystem. Each CV controller on the CV system oper-ates stand alone and shares common data, such asoutside air temperature, over a communicationsnetwork.

The System Manager is a central operators interfaceto all controllers on the network. All system vari-ables, setpoints, and values can be viewed andmodified from one convenient location. Menu drivenprogramming using English language descriptors, make the Meridian CV easy to set up and operate.

The System Manager is password protected to pre-vent unauthorized access to the control system.

The CommLink interface provides an intelligent, highspeed computer/modem interface to the CV system.A computer and/or Remote Link can be connectedfor on site or remote monitoring (not required for thesystem to operate). MeridianView, a Windows™based software program, provides a user friendly, full function program for system set up, status, callout alarm capability, and trend logging.

The patented design of the York Meridian RoomSensor provides accurate sensing of the roomtemperature. Its design allows for flush wallmounting yet rejects the influence of surface andinternal wall temperatures. The Room Sensor’sattractive styling and off white casing color make itsuitable for most building decors. If interior deco-ration requires, the Zone Sensor casing can alsobe painted or wall papered without affecting thesensor's performance. Room Sensors are avail-able in 4 different configurations:

• 2ZTS004704024 - Sensor Plain• 2ZTO004704024 - Sensor with Setpoint

Adjustment• 2ZTA004704124 - Sensor with Override• 2ZTB004704124 - Sensor with Setpoint

Adjustment and Override

The Room Sensor Plain and Room Sensor withOverride, require (2) wires to be connected fromthe controller to the sensor. The Room Sensorwith setpoint adjustment and Zone Sensor withSetpoint and Override options, require 3 wires beconnected to the sensor. Twisted cable is rec-ommended for wiring of all Room Sensors. Wiringshould not be run in conduit with other AC linevoltage wiring, or with any conductors carryinghighly inductive loads. Most applications do notrequire shielding.

The Room Sensors are designed to be mounted on a vertical, 2” x 4” electrical box recessed in the wall. If the wallcannot be penetrated, a plastic surface mount box such as those made by Wiremold, may be used to mount thesensor to the wall surface.
