DEPARTMENT ANALYSIS: The applicant is seeking approval of a variance to reduce the stacking lane requirement from five cars to two cars. The letter of intent states that Wells Fargo is proposing to modify existing parking, add an escape lane for the drive-thru facility, and install a remote drive-up ATM. The project was previously permitted in 2012 (CDP2011-00005) and met all requirements at that time. The permit expired due to lack of construction. Per the Unified Development Ordinance, adequate queue space for a minimum of five cars per lane is required.
