Health Benefits can often be confusing or overwhelming but with a partner like Health Matters working on your behalf to negotiate rates, benefits and service delivery you will have the peace of mind knowing that you are in safe hands.

Our clients rely on us to present them with facts, information and recommendations in all aspects of their benefits package.

If an employee requires medical treatment or support they will not be performing their duties and responsibilities to the best of their ability. To help you when this happens we will discuss the relevant options available to the employee so that you know that they are covered.

Medical Insurance or a Health Cash Plan can help provide treatment to aid their recovery at a convenient time and place to accommodate work hours and commitments. We can also advise on products to help

with covering the cost of long term absentees such as Group Income Protection.

This is all coupled with our extensive knowledge and experience with wellbeing services such as health screening and employee assistance programmes.

Typical costs for a Health Cash Plan would be around £52 per employee per annum.

For an indicative quotation for either full medical insurance or a health cash plan we just need the following information:• Names• Ages• Location

Certain Employee Benefits are now expected to be provided by an employer Death in Service Typically paying a multiple of an employee’s salary in the event of their death is fast becoming one of the UK’s most expected benefits. Cover is not expensive but will help you attract and retain loyal staff.

Employee Assistance Programmes Your employees and members of their household will be provided with vital support and information services. Offering counselling services or advice on the challenges the life presents.

Private Medical Insurance & Health Cash Plans These will pay for treatment to keep your employees fit and well to complete their job requirements with a minimal impact on the working environment.

Workforce Health Screens Providing an onsite medical that gives your employees a ‘snap-shot’ report of their current health. This can include diabetes test, cholesterol levels, body fat, lung function and heart rate.

Executive Medicals These are becoming a valued benefit and provide your key employees detailed information about their health and allow them to make important life-style alterations if required.

Occupational Health Services Working with your managers to ensure your employees are able to complete their job roles without detriment to their, or to other employees, health. Whether you have a service in place or not we can provide an assessment of your needs based both on best practice and statutory requirements. This will help you mitigate any risks to the business and your employees.
