Hello to All! August 1st, where does the time go? Barbeques, swimming, trips to the beach and lots of ice cream, we hope! Happy Summer! This picture represents something special to us; the joy and love of family involvement here at McLean. McLean is a most special community, and a key factor in the mix is the part family members play with our residents and with our staff. Family members are always welcome here, and you will usually see them at our many musical programs, barbeques, and special events (like Paint Day, shown here), spending time by the fireplace or in our courtyard. Knowing their loved ones are well cared for allows visits to truly become about connecting and sharing quality time together. Our staff believes that families are our partners in providing the best of care. Input and suggestions are always welcome! We believe our entire community should be educated, especially in the area of dementia care. Please circle the date of October 22 at 5:30 p.m. for our next Family Education Night. We also are looking forward to our next Family Council meeting on Thursday, August 29th at 1:30. We look forward to sharing with you the results of our recent satisfaction survey.

Thank you for reading our newsletter and remember, our doors are always open to you!
