Health Center Newsletter

November….a cozy month of pumpkins, corn stalks, candy corn and Thanksgiving! We have so very much to be thankful for during this season.

Our Memory Care Volunteer Program hosted our first Community Café in October! It was a wonderful gathering of folks with dementia and their caregivers. We are so thankful to our staff and volunteers who helped to make the morning special. We are delighted with the response from our community. We are thankful that this will be a monthly event.

We are also thankful for the gift of staff longevity. We will soon celebrate McLean employees who have worked here for 5, 10, 15 and up to 40 years plus! What a gift to our residents to have employees be firmly rooted and part of the foundation of McLean.

Flu season is upon us and we are so thankful for all of those who protect themselves and others with a flu vaccine! Please help keep our community well by not visiting if you are under the weather.

We are so very thankful to you, our families! Your support and encouragement each and every day help to make all of our jobs easier! We wish you and yours the happiest of Thanksgivings!
