Presidents Corner

Happy New Year to all! Wow, did last year fly by quickly? The older we get times sure seems to speed up. Here is my wish for all to have a prosperous and happy 2018. The next year will be pivotable for the Club as well. We will need the continued support of our Membership to sustain our existence.

The Presidents Corner has always been used to say thank you to those members who volunteered their time and helped to make events or to run the day to day operations of your Club successfully. (see extended presidents corner page 2)

I would like to thank all of our members that supported us dur-ing the last year. It doesn't matter if you are a regular visitor, a birthday dinner patron or and occasional guest, please know we appreciate what your do. A club cannot survive without it.

2018 will be starting off with a bang, our January Birthday din-ner (roast pork). And back by popular demand The Rat Pack and More/Big Bucks Raffle on January 19th (see enclosed). But hurry tickets are selling fast. So don’t be shut out!

Also this year for Super Bowl Party we have kicked up about 3 notches to a steak dinner, open bar, more food after half time and lots of prizes included in ticket price. (see enclosed flyer).

This is a special extended President’s Corner: Any member who attended this years Children’s Christmas party can surely testify that we have one of the best parties bar none around. These parties just don’t happen without preparation and good (great) people involved. My Special Thank to all who helped but I must single out our wonderful members who went above and be-yond. To Frank, Yvonne and their daughter Brittany for co-chairing and coordinating the event. To John and Sandy Powell for their donating the individual stocking bags all children received. To Suzie Miller for doing all the gift shopping and to Stephanie and Dale Sibits who helped her wrap them. As always we thank Billy Hruska and Megan for the Santa and Elf hook ups. (wink wink). To Zach Linx for his donation of the ice cream dessert all were treated too.
