HARMONIZED AUDIT PROGRAM

T he Liberian Registry is the first and only major open registry to have trained a worldwide network of lead auditors in both the International Safety Management (ISM) and the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Codes. By

harmonizing the overlapping requirements of these International Codes, the Liberian Registry seeks to provide shipowners convenient, efficient and cost-effective certification services. Shipowners can ensure compliance while reducing the burden on ship and shore staff, as well as reducing survey expenses by enrolling in Liberia’s optional Harmonized Audit program.

Liberia is the ONLY Registry to provide harmonized audit and Maritime Labour Convention verification services - traditionally conducted by class societies. Liberian shipowners have a choice, with competitive pricing.

The Registry’s global network of nautical inspectors are personally trained by the Administration to serve as exclusive Security, ISM and MLC lead auditors for the Liberian Registry.

Liberian Auditors completed Security Verifications of 67% of the fleet; 33% by RSOs.
