Our aim has always been to bring the original South American hammocks, not the Western models, for which they make use of spreaders on both sides of the hammock. Hammocks with spreaders have a tendency to tilt.Top quality was and is our aim and that does not always go hand in hand with a low price. This is our choice. Our hammocks are made by specialists, who are well paid.

We have been close with the consumer for over 30 years, because of this, we have a good view of their needs and motives.Therefore, we decided to produce hammocks of more extensive measurements, compared to the countries of origin of the hammock. We can also quickly assess which colors and products best catch on. This is why we have dedicated a selection of our range to the seasons of 2012-2013.

BAMBOO To our great joy, there is now an alternative for tropical hard-wood: PRESSED BAMBOO. Super strong, very durable and really fast growing. We want to apply this material to all of our ham-mock and hammock chair stands which make use of wood, and stop using tropical hardwood for our stands.One thing that is very important to us when it comes to ham-mock stands, is its carrying capacity. It should be capable of carrying heavier people, or two people at once, which prevents accidents. The maximum weight the COMFORT can carry is 180kg, the maximum of the ALU ARC is 200kg and the maxi-mum of the ZIG ZAG is 250kg.

BAMBUSZu unserer großen Freude gibt es nun eine Alternative für tro-pisches Hartholz: Gepresstes Bambusholz.Es ist sehr stark, strapazierfähig und zudem noch schnell nachwachsend. In 1996, we organized a contest for designing hammock stands. In that time, the market did not have a decently designed hammock stand to offer, with excep-tion of the now widely copied ROMAN ARCH by Hatteras. The winner of this contest was the ZIG ZAG, by Marianne Meinema. A beautiful stand on which no screws are used. Made of stainless steel 316. Stainless steel hooks and adjustable stainless steel feet. Can carry a weight up to 250kg and takes our XL and Gigante hammocks.

The ALU ARC is made from anodized aluminum. The advantage of this aluminum hammock support over a wooden hammock support, is that it is much easier to disassemble and assemble.

L’ALU ARC est un très beau support de hamac en aluminium anodise.L’avantage du support de hamac en aluminium par rapport à celui en bois est qu’il est beaucoup plus facile à monter et à démonter.

The big advantage of this stand is that the feet have been placed toward the back, so one can sit with their back pointing to the stand, without it falling over. This is one of the few stands with which this is possible. For the COMFORT, we use pressed bamboo on powdercoated steel feet. The Comfort Can carry a weight up to 180kg and takes our Large and XL hammocks.

Der große Vorteil dieses Gestells ist die Tatsache das die Füße zur Rückseite hin platziert werden, so das man mit dem Rücken zum Gestell sitzen kann ohne das es umfällt.. Für das COMFORT Gestell nutzen wir gepresstes Bambusholz auf Pulverbeschichteten Stahlfüßen. Es kann ein Gewicht von maximal 180kg tragen und ist passend für unsere Hängematten in den Größen L und XL.

Le grand avantage de ce support c’est que les pieds ont été placés vers l’arrière, pour que l’on puisse s’asseoir  le dos au support sans que celui ne nous tombe dessus. Pour le COMFORT, nous utilisons du bambou pressé sur des pieds en acier thermolaqué. Peut sup-porter un poids de 180kg maximum et nos hamacs de taille L et XL.
