Your institution must be certified as an ‘eligible’ institution

You must apply every year you seek new funds

Amends Title III, Part F, section 371of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as Amended (HEA)

Appropriates $100 M for Hispanic Serving Institutions FY 2010-2019

Title V regulations from 34 CFR temporarily adopted for this program are:

• Develop and carry-out activities that improve and expand their capacity to serve Hispanic and other low-income students
