FROM THE DESK OF THE CHAPTER DIRECTOR

HELLO CHAPTER “T” FAMILY

Hello everybody, I hope that your Thanksgiving was a safe and happy one.

If you were not at the last gathering, here’s what you missed.

Chapter B came to visit us with 10 members. I would like to thank Chapter B for

making the trip to our gathering. We had a blast!!

We had 29 members attend the November gathering. Peggy Yommer won the

Progressive. Andi Riek won the 50/50. (she always wins)

The final menu was set for our after-Christmas Banquet. The menu will remain

the same as last year. (if it aint broke don’t fixit) We will be having a cake for de-

sert. Feel free to bring an additional desert to the banquet if you wish. The ban-

quet will be held in the ballroom this year that way we will have more room for

our activities.

If you are participating in the mileage challenge, please make sure that I have

your year ending mileage at the December gathering. The mileage awards will

be given out at the banquet.

The new chapter team will be reviled at the December gathering. The chapter

team will consist of the Chapter Director, Asst. Chapter Director, Chapter treas-

urer, Chapter Ride Coordinator and Chapter Social and Member Enhancement

Coordinator. These changes are being made in accordance with the restructur-

ing of the G.W.R.R.A. organization.

The December gathering will also be the ride schedule meeting for nest year. If

you have any ideas for rides for the chapter, please bring them to the Decem-

ber gathering

Please bring your raffle tickets and money to the December gathering.

That’s all I have for now. Hope to see you at the gathering on December 8th.

We want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a

healthy Happy New Years.

I can’t believe the weather has been so nice for riding. I’m

sure by the time this newsletter goes out the weather will

change. This year has just flown by so quickly, its hard to be-

lieve we need to start shopping and baking. We are looking

forward to the family getting together again. Hope every-

one has a great Christmas, and Santa is good to you.

Hello everyone ,We hope all had a good Thanksgiving and maybe some of you

even got a deer. I guess it’s time to put the trike away and winterize it. I hope eve-

ryone went riding a good little bit this year. I was hoping to to get more riding in

this year, but I guess not! Christmas will be here in a couple of weeks. We are

looking forward to spending time with family and friends. Going to programs at

Church and making up the stockings for the kids. This year Mom and I did 12

stockings and hope to do more next year. We buy toys all year long. Merry Christ-

mas to all!

Hello Everyone,

As I sit here on Thanksgiving Day typing the newsletter and sniffing the turkey

cooking, I am wondering where has the last three years gone? I can’t believe

that this is our last newsletter article as PA District Directors. It just seems like

yesterday we told the District Directors, Dana and Danise Hartle and Region Di-

rector, Tom and Renee Wasluck that Andi and I would agree to become the

GWRRA PA District Directors. They say time flies when you’re having fun – well,

there has never been a time where we did not have fun at the many Gold Wing

functions we attended.

Andi and I would like to thank everyone on the district team for making our jobs

easy. From the District Rallies, District Meetings, and the staff meetings we

knew that if any of you were given a task to do, it would be done to perfection.

We always said that we believed we had the greatest district staff around. Again,

we thank all of you all from the bottom of our hearts. We will truly miss working

with all of you and we are sure to remain awesome friends.

Some people we had asked to be part of the district team accepted our offer,

some turned down the opportunity. We feel those that didn’t accept a position

missed out on the chance to make some wonderful friendships. The friendships

Andi and I have made being District Directors throughout the years will last a

lifetime. Granted throughout our tenure we have had some rocky roads but in

the end, everything worked out. If our new District Director asks for your help,

maybe consider taking a position and possibly making a difference in our great

Pennsylvanian District.

Along with thanking the District team we would like to say a special thank you to

all our chapter leaders throughout the GWRRA organization. We would especial-

ly like to thank our PA chapters and chapter members for welcoming us at eve-

ry event we have ever attended. The fun and comradery that is shown in our

chapters is without a doubt something special. Your dedication to GWRRA is ap-

preciated.

With our tenure being over please remember the fun will continue with new

leadership and new ideas. All I can ask is for you to support the new leadership

as you supported us. You can do this by supporting all the programs that the dis-

trict is involved with.

We would like to wish Harold and Diane Jackson all the luck that is possible in

their new position as PA District Directors. I know they will give 110% in every-

thing they do. We wish them the best and congratulate them on the new PA Dis-

trict Team they are working on putting together.

Thank you again for all the support in our tenure. Hope to see every one of you

somewhere soon.
