Guide on:How to use Digital Certificate for GST Registration
Login to account using Existing User Login button or create account for GST Registration from https://www.gst.gov.in
Input User Credentials.
Before using DSC for Completing Registration Process it needs to be Registered on GST Site.

Once Logged in with credentials, below screen will appear, click Continue button.
After Opening the account fill all the information in the tabs and save it, once done, Click Dashboard appearing on Left Top.

The menu as below image will appear, Click on “Register/Update DSC” button.
Clicking the button will open below screen from where select PAN of Authorized Signatory and then signer utility needs to install, click on “Click here for instructions on installing signer utility”

It will open the below screen in separate tab, choose the download link in front of your OS.
Follow the instructions on screen to install the emSigner Utility on PC/MAC. Once Installed run the emSigner Utility by right clicking and selecting “Run As Administrator” and the below message will appear on screen.

Note: For running the emSigner Utility error free make sure that:
a. PC have latest version of Java Installed on it.b. Using compatible Browser as suggested to let Java Applet run.c. Run the emSigher Utility not by just double clicking but by right clicking and selecting
“ ”.Run As Administrator
The emSigner Utility can be seen running in System Tray (right bottom of PC screen)
Once done with running emSigher Utility successfully go to the DSC Registration Screen again (the other tab opened on browser.)
Tick the check box as below and click on PROCEED button.
Digital Certificate selection screen will appear and shows Digital Certificates available on PC/MAC. Select the certificate of Authorized Signatory and click Sign button.

After signing below message will appear on screen.
After successfully registering the Digital Signature Certificate for Authorized Signatory shift back to Application from Dashboard > My Saved Application and click on Edit button. It will open earlier saved application as below.
Check the details provided in Application once again (if required) and click on “Submit with DSC” button from Verification Screen.

Select the Registered Digital Certificate of Authorized Signatory and Sign.
After signing the registration application below screen will appear. This completes the GST Registration Application signed with Digital Signature.
