Today the Foundation launches MOVE, a new way for Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to participate and make a difference. Last year over one million men and women supported the moustache globally, raising an incredible $100 million CAD for men’s health. The Foundation is the leading global men’s health charity investing in projects addressing prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity. Movember will always be about the moustache, challenging Mo Bros to grow and Mo Sistas to support their hairy efforts, but now thanks to MOVE, everyone can be an active champion of men’s health. MOVE is 30-day fitness challenge to raise funds and awareness for men’s health. How Canadians MOVE is up to them, from a ping-pong game to a run after work, no MOVE is too big or small to make a difference this Movember. - Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young Canadian men aged 15-29

- 1 in 5 of Canadians will experience a mental health problem each year

- 3 out of 4 deaths by suicide are men

- Moving on a regular basis can reduce risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer by up

to 50%, and lower risk of early death by up to 30%

"Movember helped my father through his final years with prostate cancer. It kept all of our spirits high as the fundraising continued to give him purpose." said Mo Bro Jared Tessis, “My father is my hero. He's the reason why I started to grow a moustache in 2014 and continue to support Movember today.
