The unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work.

The Definition

Plagiarism in writing

Use other’s words or idea in one’s writing.

Same word as the original word

Copy directly from the internet

Didn’t give the correct citation

it is easy

don't want to do the work (lazy)

For profit, for benefits

pressure from parents or schools

Why Plagiarism?

Why Plagiarism is wrong?

It is okay if use on informal conversations , but it is unethical to use other’s word in writing.
