GOOD NEWS!!!GOOD NEWS!!! The good news is that on 21 July 2009, “Sundarban” secured a place

among one of the top 28 official finalist candidates by the “New Seven Wonders Foundation” in its drive to select “Natural Seven Wonders”. High contest evolved among various countries in this Seven Wonders Selection procedure. Mass people of Bangladesh and various organizations brought our Sundarban to this enviable place by participating in this competition. However, it is needed to vote more regularly and extensively with a view to accommodating our Sundarban in the permanent list of New Seven Wonders. Voting can be made through internet and by making phone call until midnight of 10 November 2011.

Page 24: Great sundarban of bangladesh 1

Bangladesh Government has formed a coordination committee of 24 members with the State Minister for Environment and Forest as the Convener to organize and coordinate the overall activities appropriately in connection with election of our Sundarban as one of the “Natural Seven Wonders”. Foreign Secretary is also a member of this coordination committee. The Committee has already met several times and adopted some important decisions. It has been opined by the committee that the expatriate members of Bangladesh Community, who are also our goodwill Ambassadors could play a significant role in this regard by casting their valuable vote for Sundarban.
