Annual General Meeting – December 6, 2018

Chair and Executive Director’s Year in Review

Hello Friends,

We have been reflecting on a busy year all around, with just a few of the highlights being the activities at NOOPA,

the music program, our kitchen renovations, the popularity of Glass Slippers, fundraising and fun at Race for

Kids, Mountain Biking events, helping at POPS in the Park, a super Street Party, and transforming the Club into

another very impressive Haunted House.

The Club saw many staffing changes in 2018, and it has been a time of challenge, transition, and learning.

The Club clearly has a lot of energy and staff momentum, with plans ahead this December for children and youth,

including taking care of Christmas Hampers, doing a Christmas Party, and a New Years’ Party.

Overall, the successes of the Club would not be possible without the outstanding support we continue to receive

from many individuals, businesses, volunteers, and community partners in Williams Lake and the surrounding

area. The Board thanks all of you, and also a special thank you to our dedicated staff both past and present---

everyone is making a difference in our community.

We are proud to be delivering on our mission “to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth

experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, develop positive relationships, and build confidence and skills for

life”.

Please feel welcome at the Club anytime and see the difference that we are making in the lives of the children and

youth that we serve…great futures truly are starting here.
