GRASS LAKE ELEMENTARY GATOR NEWS June 15, 2017 Dear Grass Lake Parents and Families: With this weeks Gator News being our last of the school year, I wanted to make sure that I personally thank you all for your amazing support of Grass Lake Elementary. Your support of us as we work to educate your children is immeasurable. It takes a team of dedicated individuals to make sure that every student is on standard or above. I am so proud of the Grass Lake students and I want to wish them a great summer. We are definitely going to miss our 6 th graders, but we know they will work hard and have a great time in middle school. As the students enter the summer months, this is a good reminder to continue to read for understanding, practice oral reading fluency, and basic math facts. Maintaining these skills over the summer will give your child a head start as we begin the new school year. We are sending home some information so that the 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd graders can continue to use Raz-Kids to practice their reading. On the page 2 of the newsletter, you will see tentative teacher assignments for 2017-18 School Year. Please be aware that these assignments are subject to change over the summer based upon changes in enrollment and other factors. We will be posting class lists on Tuesday, August 29 th at 4:00pm. We will also have a Sneak & Peek from 4-5pm and Ice Cream Social on the Intermediate playground beginning at 5pm. Thank you so much for your continued support of Grass Lake Elementary. GRASS LAKE ELEMENTARY GATOR NEWS

June 15, 2017

Dear Grass Lake Parents and Families: With this week’s Gator News being our last of the school year, I wanted to make sure that I personally thank you all for your amazing support of Grass Lake Elementary. Your support of us as we work to educate your children is immeasurable. It takes a team of dedicated individuals to make sure that every student is on standard or above. I am so proud of the Grass Lake students and I want to wish them a great summer. We are definitely going to miss our 6th graders, but we know they will work hard and have a great time in middle school. As the students enter the summer months, this is a good reminder to continue to read for understanding, practice oral reading fluency, and basic math facts. Maintaining these skills over the summer will give your child a head start as we begin the new school year. We are sending home some information so that the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders can continue to use Raz-Kids to practice their reading. On the page 2 of the newsletter, you will see tentative teacher assignments for 2017-18 School Year. Please be aware that these assignments are subject to change over the summer based upon changes in enrollment and other factors. We will be posting class lists on Tuesday, August 29th at 4:00pm. We will also have a Sneak & Peek from 4-5pm and Ice Cream Social on the Intermediate playground beginning at 5pm. Thank you so much for your continued support of Grass Lake Elementary.
