LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTIONThis method of construction is a blend between dense foam and nylon. The interiors are constructed with a dense EPS foam that is shaped to create a “hard” case. Then we cover the foam with high quality 600 denier nylon to make it appear similar to a bag yet have the rigidity of a hard case.

ABS - ACRYLONITRILE BUTADINE STYRENE ABS plastic has good impact resistance and impact absorption. It is easily formed to make all shapes and sizes. Gator uses ABS for the cases that are designed to offer strong hard case protection but do not need the extreme durability of PE.

PE - HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENEPE is a rugged plastic material which has a high resistance to impact. PE provides good performance in low temperatures where other plastics would crack and is highly resistant to both chemicals and moisture. Gator uses PE for the products that need to take the hardest beating on the road.

ROTO-MOLDThe rotational molding process is a high temperature, low pressure plastic forming process that uses heat and biaxial rotation (rotation on two axes) to produce hollow, one piece parts. Gator utilizes roto-molding for large format products that require form fitting capabilities.

DENIER NYLONA strong nylon material that is used in the construction of bags. The higher the number, such as 600-denier, the better the quality. 600-denier is highly tear-and-water-resistant.

EPS FOAM – EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE EPS is a thermal plastic material. It is formed to make a dense foam that is ideal for creating form fit protection for the product. Gator uses EPS to create case interiors and structures.

EVA ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATEEVA is a polymer used to absorb physical shock. Gator uses EVA to give extra protection between foam and nylon along with forming tough contoured molded pieces.

The Elite Air Combination Tom case blends Elite’s optimum protection with the convenience of one case. The contoured divider allows smaller toms to securely sit atop larger toms and is available for 10” & 12” and 12” & 13” tom combinations.

Gator Frameworks was developed by musicians and audiophiles that are passionate about their gear. Every stand must meet the scrutiny of the product designers that “yes, this is the one I would choose to buy and use on stage, at work or in my home”.

From the get go we wanted to do something new, something that looked sleek and that worked better than anything out there in the market today. From this ideology was born what we call our iD series, which is truly a new stand line from the ground up and is our iD in the market. This series incorporates clean lines that allow them to easily be stored and look elegant when in use. All the mechanisms were diligently thought through and tested to ensure they not only looked great but they worked in a way that was natural and easy to use.

At the core of all Gator Frameworks product design is the mission for it to be easy to operate and to hold up to extensive use. The handles, knobs and mechanisms are designed to operate in the most instinctive way and to feel comfortable in your hand. Our goal is to humanize every product. We utilize only the best of materials and have added attributes from the inside out such as thicker extrusion and anodized parts to every product to ensure that they will sustain the rigors of the field.
