PART I: PROJECT INTRODUCTION.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION.

Vietnam, a beautiful country with marvelous landscape and culture, is on its way to adapt with the

fast pace of globalization and world changing development. After years of wars and the afterward

reconstruction, Vietnam has done a good job bringing education and economy to a higher level, which

helps a lot in empowering the new generations to develop and make change to the new world. Still,

the huge population, the disparity, together with the lack of skills and knowledge are now the

problems that we have to confront to make a leap toward a brighter future. One obvious issue we are

facing is the lack of international knowledge, global interaction and essential interpersonal

communication skills. WHAT are we going to do about it?

AIESEC, with the vision of peace and fulfillment of humankind potential, came to Vietnam in 2006 and

is doing our best to improve the situation. Coming up with the initiative of educating university

students about society, culture, business… in a global experience perspective, AIESEC FTU HN proudly

introduces Global Passport project, with our belief to make a positive change in our society by making

impact on the youth through our learning courses.

to the students. The content of the course will be built based on the model of Cultural buddy teaching

and Limit breaking activities:

Cultural buddy teaching: Each intern will be the buddy of 1 – 4 students outside class. They will have

more chances to interact with others, be close friends and learn from the cultural differences

between countries.

Limit breaking activities: During classes, the students will continuously be challenged and forced to

step out of their comfort zone with the limit breaking activities. The ultimate purpose of these

activities is to make students believe in themselves and build up their confidence.

An important stake holder of the project is interns, who come all the way from their countries to a

totally strange one, to live, to learn and to contribute to the world. Welcoming our interns, we aim to

provide our interns an amazing experience with the global learning environment, personal self-

development, valuable lesson from our learning partners and the chance to interact with Vietnamese

student as the way to know more about our education system. Interns will be granted responsibility

and join the project with us as an official member to make the project successful.

Job Description 1: Design the course’s content. Together, interns and OC Content will develop the

content for the course to suit the student’s need while making sure that the course will bring positive

results to them.

Job Description 2: Do promotion for the course. Interns will face challenges doing promotion in a

totally different market, with differently thinking style customers. To make sure the course will be

executed successfully, interns will have to propose promotion plan and implement it under the

supervision of OC Promotion.

Job Description 3: Deliver the course. Being the one who design the course, interns know the best how

to deliver it, and afterwards know what needs to be changed for better performance.

Job Description 4: Deliver transition for the next batch of interns.

Job Description 5: Participate in AIESEC integration events and other events for youths in Hanoi. Attend

internal and external meetings related to Project.

To be competent to do all of these, interns coming will be trained by AIESEC and receive training

session from our learning partners on the topic of the course in the first two weeks.

Besides that, for we always want to give our international friends the best experience in Vietnam, we

introduce our Exchange Challenge Campaign as a way to integrate them deeper into Vietnamese

culture and life style. Our challenges will be some surprising tasks that make our interns jump out

there and discover more about Vietnam. This will be counted as an official JD.
