What do we need to do to get there? What’s the plan?
The key areas to focus on are:• Planning lessons that are pitched at the correct level
and are differentiated for the full ability range.• Sharing good planning, strategies and resources
within departments to ensure all teachers plan for good and outstanding teaching.
• Working at pace so that students are on task, focussed, and are pushed to move forward and learn throughout lessons.
What do we need to do to get there? What’s the plan?
• Challenging all students to achieve their potential in each and every lesson.
• Questioning students effectively to move their learning forward, alongside checking their understanding.
• Marking that is regular, detailed and is clear in its advice on how students need to improve.
