(1) Whether Eskom currently employs, and/or has in the past 5 yearsemployed, staff who have received and/or are receiving helicoptertraining; if so,

() whether Eskom is paying for such helicopter training; if not, what is theposition in this regard; if so, what (a) has !een the cost to Eskom of such

helicopter training for every individual employee as at the latest specifieddate for which information is availa!le and (!) are the minimum num!erof flying hours re"uired !y Eskom or any aviation institution to conductthe tasks for which Eskom#s helicopter pilots are trained;

($) whether any employee who has received helicopter training throughEskom has !een involved in any flying or training incidents; if so, what(a) is the date on which every incident occurred and (!) was the natureof the incident(s);

(%) whether any in&uries and/or deaths resulted from the incidents; if so,

what are the relevant details in each case;

(1) Eskom employs e'perienced pilots who, on &oining Eskom +viation aretrained to !e proficient on Eskom elicopter -ive.line perations0

his training comprises on the &o! type conversions if necessary andannual recurrent training0

() raining for the e'perienced pilots in the employ of Eskom +viation isundertaken using 2ompany elicopters and in.house flying instructors,and as such there is no direct cost incurred0 Eskom paid for the a!.initiotraining of the $ cadets0
