The angel Gabriel…coming to her…said, “ Hail, full of

grace! The Lord is with you” But she was greatly

troubled…Then the angel said to her, “ Do not be

    afraid, Mary…” Luke 1:26, 28-30

A GIFT TO THE CHURCH: Wanting to make an extra

Christmas gift to the church as the year ends? This year of

the pandemic has put a strain on the church and school

budgets, saw an increase in need for tuition assistance, and

an increase in some expenses for our parish. We

appreciate the giving of our faithful parishioners

throughout the year and any extra end-of-year gifts will be

very welcome in helping to maintain our staff, facilities,

and ministries. Did you know that this year the CARES

Act offers tax incentives for charitable givers, even those

who usually take the standard deduction? An added bonus

    to giving!

Volunteers are needed for ALL in-person Masses -

regular weekend Masses as well as Christmas Masses and

Holy Day Masses Dec. 31/Jan. 1. In order to have in-

person Masses, we must meet certain guidelines to keep

parishioners safe and healthy and to be in compliance with

directives from the Bishop. This means helpers are

NEEDED to take temperatures, help seat people, help

sanitize the church, and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy

Communion to serve at each Mass. If you are attending

in-person Masses or plan to, please go to our volunteer

page online to sign up for various tasks at upcoming

    Masses https://frankfortgoodshepherd.org/volunteer-

opportunities or contact Stephanie Sims at the parish office

to volunteer. ([email protected] or 502-227-4511

    ext. 1363)

PARISH OFFICE HOURS: The Parish Office will

be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The

staff will work on a reduced schedule during the

remainder of the year. Please call the office before

arriving to assure that someone is available to assist

    you.
