GOOD MORNING AND WELCOME! t is very good to have you with
us today as we worship God
together. As we move closer
towards spring, hibernation is
slowly coming to an end for
many. We can see this with Kids’
Church, the first of our groups to
resume after the term break.
Senior Pastor Stephen Baxter will
be bringing The Challenge of the Church sermon series to a conclusion. We look forward to hearing God’s word
from the Gospel of Matthew.
Following the service, tea and coffee will be served in the hall.
You are invited to stay and connect

NEW SERMON SERIES Commission: Witnesses for
Jesus
Jesus called His disciples to be His witnesses. We are not eyewitnesses to His
bodily resurrection, but we are those who have experienced God’s love,
forgiveness and work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. So, what does it mean for us,
his disciples today, to be his witnesses in our communities?

THE CHALLENGE OF THE CHURCH
n this series, we have
been exploring two
ideas. Today, the
Church faces many
challenges from the
rapid changes taking
place in society, making
life a challenge for the
Church. At the same
time, the very existence
of the Church in and of itself is a challenge to the world because Jesus
calls us to be a light to the world. What does this mean for our lives
individually and for the ministry and mission of Hobart Baptist Church?
