March 15, 2020 Good evening, Model families, As you return from what I hope has been a relaxing spring break, I wanted to provide some additional information before we begin online school. First, as a reminder, we will not have face-to-face school tomorrow, March 16 through Friday, March 27. Online school will officially begin on Tuesday, March 17. Grades K - 3 assignments will include a hybrid of online and print work. Although it is not required that parents pick up either technology or materials, packets will be available through email and students may use any technology with internet access already at home. K - 3 parents will hear from their child’s teacher a more detailed email tomorrow. For intermediate and secondary grades 4 - 12, assignments will be posted on Google Classroom by 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. iPads, materials, supplies, and packets will be available for students or parents to pick up tomorrow from 12:00 - 3:30 p.m. OR 7:15 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday if they wish. You can expect an email from me with detailed information about extracurriculars, and other important information this Tuesday, March 17. We know that this is a challenging and unprecedented time for all of us, and as our Governor says, we are team Kentucky, and we will get through this together. Sincerely, John R.
