Distance MeasuringYour range finder has two different modes for measuring distance.

Grass Land ModeGrass Land Mode is specifically designed for golfers. It allows you to conveniently measure the distance from where you stand to the cup. In order to use Grassland Mode, follow the steps below:

1. Press the ON/ADJUST button to power on your unit. By default, your unit will be in Grass Land mode as displayed in Figure 1.2. Look through the golf scope and align the baseline that appears on the screen to the bottom of the pin. Press the ON/ADJUST button repeatedly to lower or raise the horizontal line located above the baseline so that it is lined up with the top of the pin. (See figure 2.) Pressing the MODE button will change whether the horizontal line raises or lowers when you press the ON/ADJUST button. 3. The calculation at the top of the screen is indicative of your distance to the cup.

Distance Measuring (continued)Common ModeCommon Mode can be used when you’d like to measure your distance to an object that is not on the golf course. Just enter the height of your desired target first, and the range finder will calculate the distance between you and the target. In order to use your device in Common Mode, follow the steps below:1. Press the ON/ADJUST button to power on your unit. Press the MODE button to switch to Common Mode. (See figure 3). 2. Enter the height of the target, by pressing the ON/ADJUST button repeatedly to toggle through numbers, and the MODE button to confirm and move to the next digit.3. Allign the baseline to the bottom of the target, the use the ON/ADJUST button to raise or lower the horizontal line above the baseline so that it lines up with the top of your target. The distance should be displayed as in fgure 4. The distance will be measured in the same units as that of the target’s height. Your range finder will automatically power off after 60 seconds if left idle.

1. LCD Display (see figure 5): Displays target numbers and total scores.2. Time Display (see figure 6): Displays hours, minutes. 24 hour clock and watch function.3. Scoring Display (see figure 7): Line 1 indicates total scores. On line 2, the 1st and 2nd position indicate the hole number. The 3rd and 4th positions indicate the score of the hole.
