Join us for a round of golf with Islanders players, coaches and alumni as we tee off to raise money for the ICF on Wednesday, Sept. 16. This year’s event will once again take place at Bethpage State Park Golf Course, home of the U.S. Open in 2002 and 2009. The 2015-16 season will mark the 12th Anniversary of the ICF. To date, the foundation has raised more than $9 million for children on Long Island thanks to the generous donations and support received from Islanders fans. Throughout the year, the ICF helps thousands of children in need. Every October, during Hockey Fight’s Cancer Month, the team honors cancer survivors, distributes grants to numerous Long Island-based children’s hospitals, assists non-profits in their fundraising efforts and memorializes those we have lost. In the winter, the team hosts coat, food and toy drives to assist the less fortunate in our community. Each season, the Islanders players also lift the spirits of children in local hospitals across Long Island who are recovering from various illnesses and injuries. The players bring toys and excitement, allowing the children to take their minds off of their medical situation. At each home game, several players host sick or underprivileged children. The players invite the children to meet in person, a locker-room tour and autographs. These programs, along with the clinics and charitable work, are made possible due in part to the generous donations received every year at key ICF events, in particular the golf outing. Registration and brunch will begin at 10AM and the shotgun start to the event will commence at noon. You will receive a barbeque lunch on the course and the event will conclude in the evening with a cocktail reception. The distribution of prizes from the day’s rounds will take place at the reception and attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on several unique Islanders experiences and memorabilia in the chance auctions. All of the proceeds will directly benefit the ICF. I look forward to teeing off with you as we support a great cause in the Islanders Children’s Foundation. Sincerely, Garth Snow New York Islanders General Manager & ICF President

Dear Fans, Friends and all our Islanders Children’s Foundation Supporters,

On behalf of the New York Islanders Hockey Club, I am excited to invite you to the Eighth Annual Islanders Children’s Foundation (ICF) Golf Outing.

ISLANDERS CHILDREN’S FOUNDATIONThe ICF is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting Long Island-based charitable groups that provide opportunities to children. The Foundation also works with a variety of in-house youth programming. The Foundation will work with children’s charities that focus on the areas of health, education and youth hockey development. Through the tireless efforts of Islanders players, employees and management partnered with the support of loyal sponsors and fans, donations are raised for the Foundation. Since its inception in 2003, the ICF has raised more than 9 million dollars to aid in the development of these types of initiatives and projects throughout Long Island.

The Foundation raises awareness and funds through a variety of charitable initiatives during the course of the NHL season, including ICF Day at Adventureland, Casino Night and, of course, the annual ICF Golf Outing. Special player programs including Josh Bailey’s Bailey’s Buddies Program, John Tavares’ Teammates Program, Travis Hamonic’s D-Partner Program, Matt Martin and Casey Cizikas’ Cystic Fibrosis Program, Colin McDonald’s Wounded Warrior Program, along with Michael Grabner’s Charity Goal Program also add funding throughout the course of the year. Other in-game fundraisers include 50/50, Jerseys off the Back, St. Patrick’s Day Jersey Auction, Hockey Fights Cancer Jersey Auction, Valentine’s Day Puck Surprise, among many others.

BETHPAGE STATE PARK | RED COURSE

Bethpage State Park played host to the 2002 and 2009 editions of the PGA Tour’s U.S. Open. In 1934, the greens underwent a major renovation

under the supervision of legendary golf architect A.W. Tillinghast. Bethpage now operates five different courses to offer golfers a challenge for every skill level. This year’s event will once again take place on the historic Red Course, an 18-hole masterpiece that opened in 1935 and features 6,756 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 73 and it has a slope rating of 127 on rye grass. The Red will exhaust your long irons and rescue clubs with four par-4’s on the back nine, each stretching over 463 yards. Along with these features, its picturesque views and gorgeous greens, the Red Course is sure to challenge and entertain everyone at the Islanders Children’s Foundation Golf Outing.

The ICF also funds a variety of in-house youth programs. The Islanders@School Program, Holiday Hospital Visits and Toy Shopping Event, “Bossy’s Bunch” Charity Ticket Program, Amateur Youth Hockey Development Program and Islanders Fight Cancer were all created to benefit the youth of Long Island.

Throughout the course of the season, the ICF also provides support to organizations like Smile Train, Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, The American Red Cross, along with many other charities located right here in our community.

For the past 12 years, the Islanders Children’s Foundation has been an integral part of the Long Island community by providing opportunities and support to our youth.
