When we think of ACIPS, heady, festive days just around Dussehra and Mental Health Week come to our mind. It comes as an opportunity to sharpen our clinical skills, explore new locales and savor the flavor of the land. We at Thane are on a high this year, as the annual flagship event of west zone is on its maiden trip to the most happening district of India.
IPS-WZB, the best zone of India, was built over the years by stalwarts from all three states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. Let's come together and talk about its illustrious history and promising future.
Over the years, Thane which was historically the 'Centre of Garrison' has grown to be the demographic centre of Mumbai Metropolitan Region. With its open, diverse and all-embracing culture it is the apt place for the Golden Jubilee extravaganza ! The venue with auditorium, multiple air-conditioned halls and ample parking area, is an architectural marvel spread over 13 acres. It is connected with other cities by well-planned roads and suburban rail. Just a 35 minute drive (21km) from Mumbai Airport, the venue is just opposite Vashi Station and very near to leading malls and top hotels.
