I am going to let you in on a secret... I am thequeen of golden hour! I feel like I can openlysay this as so many photographers have calledme this over the years! Golden hour is the magical hour before sunset;when the sun is low but beaming bright in thesky (you might struggle to see when drivingdirectly West during golden hour- I do!). It's important you know what time golden houris on your wedding date as it can be missed byplanning a part of the wedding day to take partduring your only opportunity (this is oftenspeeches or the meal!). Not only is the light beautiful but my clients areso relaxed by this stage and often result in beingmine and my clients favourite photographs ofthe day! We might spend 5 minutes taking photographs atgolden hour or we may spend a little longer; ittotally depends on my clients on the day - I liketo see how the shoot naturally unfolds!
