About me…
Jayakumar have been working on Digital Signal Processing based algorithm innovation for Audio, Speech, Digital Radio and Digital Control segment. Off-late, Jayakumar have been working on Network Centric Communications and more in particular Software Defined Radio design and developments. Jayakumar had graduated from Aerospace department of Madras Institute of Technology. Jayakumar did his Masters and Ph.D. in Systems Control Engineering Department of Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay. As part of P.hD thesis Jayakumar had worked on Simultaneous Stabilization of Feedback Systems. Most part of the effort of Jayakumar has been focused on Synthetic Music and tools creation for Synthetic Music by using CSound from MIT Media lab. During late 90’s, Jayakumar had worked with Prof Barry vercoe (MIT Media Lab) as a product manager in Analog devices funded project in MIT Media lab. In the mentioned product, many professors and scientists from various universities and industries had worked to create Karaoke Machine ( by using 4 SHARC DSP, multi processing version) for Japanese company called Taito Corporation. With this product, Taito Corporation had jumped to 2nd position in industry from its earlier 7th position. During 2001 to 2002, Jayakumar had worked in KU Luven University as a research fellow in Reconfigurable systems and Music synthesis. PMU had included Jayakumar in Board of Management team of PMU and also Dean School of computing sciences and engineering. IGNOU had included Jayakumar as one of the core member for BATM program in IGNOU. Indira Nagar Sangeetha Shabha had nominated and appointed Jayakumar also as one the trustee member of Shabba.
