_______________________ Rugby League Clinic Yesterday, students from Years 1-6 participated in a rugby league clinic provided by Country Rugby League (CRL). Students were involved in two types of training drills to introduce them to some of the skills involved in the sport. Students were also shown how to score a try off a grubber kick and how to tackle using a tackle bag. All students had a fantastic time, showed great sportsmanship and were pleased to receive their posters and playing cards. The CRL team will hopefully return later in the year to run a 5 week skills program. Thank you to Kylie Hilder and her team for making the day a great experience for all of the students. – Amy Schafer, Assistant Principal.

Gloucester Public School’s Weekly Newsletter

This year Gloucester Public School is looking at trialling the sending of our newsletter to families via email. It is hoped that we might eventually make this our primary means of communicating the newsletter, which would save money for our school, as well as reducing the amount of paper consumed. The trial would commence at the beginning of Term 2. Families are requested to fill out the following form and indicate how they wish to receive their newsletter. Families without internet access can nominate to receive a paper copy of the newsletter. Please return forms to your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
