Logistic Approach

●Just Denim will use a systems approach when it comes to logistics decisions

●We understand that taking a systems approach isn’t always the most cost effective or best

business practice to take, but it is important to Just Denim as a company●

In an industry that already produces so much waste, we want to reduce our footprint as much as possible and not moving our products around as much will help cut the pollution caused by transportation.

●We want to source from and work with different factories around India to make everything

“efficient” in an environmental sense●

Most of our products will be fully produced in India, but we will have a few styles that are made in the USA○

Moving unfinished products to the US is expensive for us and taxing on the environment

Overview●

CEO: Through this project and better understanding the complicated nature of CSR, I have learned that the ethical answer is not always the easiest but will always be the correct way to do business.

●Creative Director: Refreshing, collaborative work environment, something to feel good about, research solidified prior held beliefs

●Production/Sourcing Specialist: Considering the pros and cons of global sourcing, Just Denim has helped me understand the progressing issue of unethical business practices that are being made by apparel retailers. I now have a better understanding of how any sourcing decision can greatly influence society.

●Vendor Specialist: “W

hile there are a lot of social and environmental injustices occurring in India, there are also factories and farms working through those very injustices. I was pleasantly surprised to find out Pratibha Syntex works with companies such as Nike, W

almart, and other international companies within Europe.” ●

Sales Director: An ethical, yet fashion forward company is hard to come by. After doing the research, I believe a company like Just Denim is something that consumers are looking for.
