• They also campaign to have child protection laws changed

• You can call their helpline if you are worried about a child

Water Aid

• WaterAid is a non governmental organisation.• Their mission is to transform lives by

improving access to safe water in the world’s poorest communities.

Unicef

• Unicef fights for children’s rights.• For over 60 years they have been the world’s

leading organisation for children, working to help them survive from early childhood.

RSPCA – The Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

• It is the largest animal welfare charity.• They rescue, rehabilitate and rehome thousands of

animals every year in England and Wales.• They also campaign to have laws concerning

animals changed, such as animal testing

Comic Relief

• Next Comic Relief evening is 15th March 2013• It is an evening on the television devoted to

raising money for different charities• So far over £800m has been raised and

benefitted 15.155 projects in 70 countries.• Money does not just go to one charity, but lots

of different ones.
