HIMECS GLOBAL ESCALATOR Model GE-3200 is the world’s first fully non-coin specific coin escalator hopper. Using the same patent-pending Advanced Coin-Drum Technology as the GLOBAL HOPPER Model GH-3200, it can dispense coins of different denominations without the need to change any components. With this revolutionary breakthrough in coin escalator technology, troublesome adjustments to the escalator to change the value of your coin payout is a thing of the past.
1. Features Dispenses any coins without any adjustments
The GE-3200 is the world’s first ‘Truly Global’ escalator hopper that can dispense coins of different size, thickness, shapes. This innovative escalator hopper can even pays out an deformed coin!
High-Speed, Jam-free payouts Using the renowned HIMECS’ patent-pending Advanced Coin-Drum Technology, the unique mechanism ensures a smooth, jam-free coin payout experience that is second to none. High-speed payout rate is also achieved at approximately 5-6 coins per second.
No more shingling, preventing coin damage The state-of-art belt mechanism prevents the common ‘Shingling’ problems experienced by other escalators and also prevents coin/ token damages.
Easy Maintenance The entire GE-3200 is modularly constructed with minimal components. Routine maintenance can be easily conducted with the innovative One-Touch feature that allows the escalator to be easily disassembled.
Flexible Coin Capacity The GE-3200 has a variety of snap-on extension tanks that can easily expand the storage capacity.

4.3 Signal description Motor power supply Apply DC24V±10% to the motor constantly. Operation current is approximately 750mA in normal dispensing state but supply capacity of 2.5A is require when the motor starts and stops. If the power capacity is short at a peak period, there is some possibility of malfunction of the motor or over-paying. Use the power supply that has sufficient margin to the peak current. Recommend using thicker wires than AWG20 for GND.

4.4 Dispensing signal output The dispensing signal outputs the pulse of 30ms width. Please refer to output example of the open collector negative logic in Para 4.5 There is no noise as such as chattering with output of the dispensing signal but recommend using 2.2kΩ or more pull up register to decrease the foreign noises Characteristics of dispensing signal output

5. Operation details Normal dispensing operations
Operation of coin dispensing is as follows
1) Turn on the motor control signal.
2) Wait for the dispensing signal and count the pulses indicating paid out coins.
3) If the last dispensing signal is detected, turn off the motor control signal within 2ms
from the starting edge of the dispensing signal
* When the motor control signal is turned off, the motor control circuit applies an inverse
voltage to the motor for a quick stop. Therefore, the current supply capacity of 2.5A is
necessary not only at a start period but also at a stop period.

Dispensing signal output Normally, the dispensing signal outputs pulses with 30 ms width.
Neglect pulses less than 5ms pulse width to avoid noise and chattering unusually happened.

7. Detachment of the escalator module
① Harness
② Lock release③
① Unplug the connector from the escalator module. ② Release the lock by pushing the latch upward. ③ Pull the escalator module forward. Make sure to take a firm grip on the upper portion
of the escalator module with other hand.

8. Disassembly of the coin-drum mechanism

9. Disassembly of the Escalator Module
1) Loosen the 2 chrome screws. You need not remove the screws completely from their respective slots.
2) Remove the Plastic Coin Outlet Cover by lifting it upwards.

Note:- As the coin payout sensor is located at the coin hopper exit, any coins that are found in the escalator module are considered ‘paid coins’. As such, these coins should be paid to the player.
