The Partner for Regional Companies with a National presence. The Challenge National and Regional Companies Face… Major regional and national companies face a dilemma when it comes to choosing a document technology partner: Do we go with a national manufacturer program too big to care about our needs or do we settle for a local dealer that is too small? Option 1: Use a Fortune 1000 Vendor One option is the large national companies and OEM’s that focus on the Fortune 1000. These companies lack the agility and accountability you demand. While they may bring you the full portfolio of office and production systems, programs customized for mega-corporations often lack the flexibility you require. Decision-making authority resides at the OEM’s national headquarters, creating potential frustrations in resolving billing or service issues. Option 2: Use a Local Dealership Then, you have they myriad of small, local dealerships. While these small businesses are great at providing service to other local companies, they are not set up to deliver regional or national service. Sure, they can cobble together national account pricing and programs through their equipment manufacturers. However, the same challenges of agility and accountability remain. You end up with a local small business trying to work with other independent small businesses in other states who may not care about your company. Option 3: A Partner Optimized for You What if there was a partner that combined local accountability and decision making? What if this partner owned a united national network of responsive service providers? What if this company was backed by the industry’s leading technology innovator?

There is a partner ready to serve your unique needs:

Transform Your Business Process

The world changes quickly.

The way we work today is different than even 10 years ago.

Email, networking, and the Internet have ushered in a wave of new realities and possibilities. You could say:

“Modern technology and electronic communication continually produce waves of new realities and possibilities.” Today’s competitive business environment invites all of us to consider better ways to work. New technologies offer the possibility of improvement—but only if they are correctly applied.

The power of technology is revealed when it is applied to solve business problems. At Global we provide solutions that can Transform the Way You Work. Our team of professionals is dedicated to understanding your business and applying technology to improve your business.

Today’s fast-paced business environment requires streamlined communication.

Companies that communicate efficiently gain the competitive advantage of agility. Efficient communication also enables companies to operate more efficiently and deliver better customer service.

Global transforms your communication with systems that integrate common communication technologies:

• Email • Fax • Print • Web

We bring all of these communication systems together to help our clients communicate more efficiently and effectively.

Transform Your Business Continuity

Unwelcome surprises are a reality in today’s business world.

Natural disasters, vandalism, and other malicious acts can severely disrupt business operations.

Could your company survive a fire, flood, or severe earthquake? Business continuity and disaster recovery plans form a defense against events that can destroy an organization.

An Electronic Archive Most businesses take proper measures to back up their computer information. However, much of today’s critical business information is still on paper. We can help you create an electronic archive of your paper-based business information with an Electronic Document Management System.

Remote Access to Information Providing secure online access to information allows employees to function from an off-site or home office if a disaster keeps them from coming to work. Our Electronic Document Management Systems can enable secure remote access.

Managed Print Services

Do you really know what you are spending on printing?

If you had an expense that comprised 2% of your annual revenue and was growing faster than your top line revenue growth, you’d want to know about it, wouldn’t you? And if you could find a practical way to manage this expense and maybe even save money, it would be a top priority.

Analyze Global’s Printegration™ process is a financial and technical analysis designed to help executive level management understand the issues their companies face in Document Management and Processing.

Evaluate We evaluate your method of managing printing, copying, faxing, scanning, and document storage to determine the true cost of these systems. Global’s team of document management experts collaborates with departments to analyze your current method of document production from financial and operational perspectives.

Present The executive summary produced by the PrinteGration™ process will help your organization evaluate the financial and operational impacts of your current methods of document processing—what technology you have, what you are doing with it, and what it is costing.

Recommend Once the PrinteGration™ process is complete, your Global Company will make recommendations to optimize your infrastructure with an eye to enhancing productivity and reducing costs.

Manage Many of our clients elect to have us manage their printing infrastructure. Our usage-based programs can provide everything you need to manage your printer network including supplies, preventative maintenance, service, and help desk support. All of this is available for one low cost per page.

Client Challenges: In 2007 the Ticketmaster IT Group, from its Southern California headquarter location, was faced with the growing challenge of managing a document technology infrastructure across 40 locations in the US from LA to San Francisco to New York to Miami and all points in between. The group was faced with the task of finding better ways to optimize their business processes and reduce their carbon footprint by using fewer devices and at the same time reducing costs. The company was currently contracted with multiple vendors and equipment technology from 8 manufacturers all using different print drivers and software. Over 30 contracts were in place for document output devices alone. The following goals were outlined as priorities of the project: • Right-Sizing the Print Environment

• Facilitate Document Compliance and

Security

• National support with Local Accountability

• Change Management

• Sustainability

• Innovative Technology

Case Study

The Solution: One of the vendors at its Southern California corporate location was MWB Business Systems, a Global Imaging Systems company with six locations across the state. MWB was brought in along with several vendors to present potential solutions to the Ticketmaster project.

The local Global Company began the process of a complete document output assessment utilizing Global Imaging’s proprietary PrinteGration™ Process, a proven system to quickly analyze your current environment, evaluate your needs, present an executive summary, recommend solutions and manage your infrastructure.

As a wholly owned Xerox Company, Global was able to present a National and Worldwide presence and support package. This proved to be a perfect mix of local support and accountability along with national strength and Xerox world class technology and services. After months of analysis and interviewing many leading document technology and support companies, the contract was awarded to the local Global Company through its Xerox Global Imaging National account program.

Measurable Results: 20% Cost Reduction

• Project managed by the regional Global Company in Southern California with National Global-Xerox support and implementation.

• Print Tracker software was installed at the

Corporate Office resulting in real time tracking and usage reporting for all networked print devices throughout the enterprise.

• New Xerox Color multi-function systems where

implemented across 40 US locations over a 3 month period.

• Redundant or outdated desktop print devices

were eliminated or replaced with workgroup sustainably green Xerox Phaser Solid Ink technology.

• Remaining fleet of HP B/W desktop laser

printers were added to the program to provide all toner, parts and service on a low cost per page program.

• 30 contracts were terminated and now

managed on one detailed invoice per month from the Global Imaging Company.

• Invoices customized by Cost Center locations

for easy billing accountability. • One number to call throughout the Untied

States for service and supplies. • Negotiated customized contract with terms to

allow over 66 affiliates to piggy back the project.
