18 International Yoga Day

The students of Jay Interna�onal School and Genius English Medium Schoolperformed Yoga collec�vely in the School Grounds. They did guided Yoga with thehelp of their Yoga Instructors. The students were keen enough to try on differentpostures as guided by them. At Genius English Medium School, Captain Jaydev Joshi(Retd.) alongwith the Chairman of Genius Group of Ins�tu�ons: Shri D. V. Mehta toojoined in encouraging the students for the Yoga performance.

Blood Donation CampAs a part of Social Services, Blood Dona�on Camps arearranged every year on 26 th June where the parents, ex-students,staff and the guests also take ac�ve par�cipa�on for the dona�on.The camp is organized with the help of Saurashtra Voluntary BloodBank team in the campus of both the schools. The students are alsoexplained the procedures and guidelines for Blood Collec�on andare also given idea for the Blood Groupism.

Global Skill AcademyGenius Group of Schools collaborated with Global Skill Academy to enhance the skills of theyouth. Four courses were made available in the School Campus namely Ac�ng & Drama School,Film Making Academy, Dance Academy and Music Skill Academy. As a part of this collabora�onfor Dance Academy, Dharmesh'D' of ABCD movie fame visited the school campus andencouraged the kids to do some dance moves.

Launching Ceremony of Specially DesignedBooks for the Special Need Children

A complete book set of the main subjects was designed by the team of Genius Super KidsSec�on and was launched in thepresence of dignitaries like Rev. Binaben Acharya-Rajkot City Mayor, Shri Udaybhai Kangad-Chairman, Standing Commi�ee, Shri Kanaksinh Zala- Social Welfare Commi�ee,Shri Manishbhai Madeka-Rolex Industries, Shri Jay Mehta- Managing Trustee, RajkotInterna�onal School, Shri Hiteshbhai Shah-Member of Fee Regulatory Commi�ee, ShriBharatbhai Tan�- Chairman, Jay Interna�onal School, Shri Ajaybhai Patel-President,Self-Finance School Associa�on, Shri Avdheshbhai Kangad-Vice President, Self-FinanceSchool Associa�on alongwith the Chairman of Genius Group of Ins�tu�ons: ShriD. V. Mehta. The teachers studied the Special B.Ed course and then accordingly designedthe books according to the mental level and grasping limit of the special kids.

Introduction ofChinese Language

Learning a foreign language is always fun and enthusias�c for students to learn. The students ofGenius English Medium School and Jay Interna�onal School were given a pla�orm to learn theChinese language which would be quite in demand in the near future. The School Managementarranged for a China-based educator only-Ms. Cassie to stay in Rajkot and teach the language to

ththe students of Std.7 to 12 . The students enjoyed learning even about the cultural backgroundof China. Ms. Cassie made the classrooms interac�ve with the help of small sentences to be spokenin Chinese language which the students happily learnt. They even prepared assembly presenta�onon the last day to display for their juniors.

Truly a learning fes�val for the educators, every year a variety of topics, concepts, ideas,research and survey is presented by approx. 250 staff members of Genius English MediumSchool, Jay Interna�onal School, Rajkot Interna�onal School, Kalawad English MediumSchool and Genius Kids Kingdom Franchisee from a wide range of areas like Science andTechnology, General, Social and Poli�cs, Psychology and Educa�on and Commerce andLiterature. The 4 day-long event imbibes a huge ton of knowledge in the educators and afeel of enthusiasm and confidence, thus presen�ng their area of interest to the audience.

8Vocational Training Centre The Genius Super Kids sec�on focuses on overall development of the child right fromits physical growth with the help of different therapies provided in the school only,mental growth with the help of specially designed syllabus by their teachers and makingthem independent by training them in various Voca�onal Courses as well. The ResourceCentre of Voca�onal training was inaugurated by the Educa�on Minister of Gujarat StateHon. Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama alongwith other guests. The guests wereoverwhelmed seeing the dedica�on of the students while making handmade chocolates,data entry, doing repairing of daily use items etc.

Cyclokids It was a memorable morning when more than 1600 students of the age group 8 to 15 yearsof different Schools and ins�tutes par�cipated in the Cyclokids event organized byGenius Group and Rajkot Reindeers. The kids enthusias�cally cycled down the path of 12 kms.decided once the flag-off was given by the Rajkot Mayor Hon. Binaben Acharya,Rajkot Municipal Commissioner Shri B.N.Pani (IAS), Rajkot Deputy Police CommissionerShri Manoharsinh Jadeja, Rajkot Deputy Commissioner C.G.S.T Shri Manishkumar Chavda,Shri Jitubhai Kothari, Shri D. V. Mehta and Shri Ajaybhai Patel. The kids were more than happyenjoying cycling as it was not a compe��on but just a par�cipa�ng event. They were givensurprise gi�s with lucky draw system.

Trade ManifestoThe Commerce students alongwith being given the knowledge of theory, are given a pla�orm toprac�cally carry out their knowledge. Every year, a Trade Manifesto is arranged for and by theCommerce students. They are given a chance to exhibit the whole event on their own-right fromplanning the basics, finding the wholesalers, deciding the margin, reaching out for marke�ng,balance sheet maintaining, stock maintenance etc. These type of events not only give a boostup to the confidence and convincing skills of the students, but a good prac�cal knowledge too!

9 Woolen Clothes DistributionAlongwiththe current parents and the surrounding residen�al areas, the students andstaff collected a huge stock of Woolen Clothes and planned a Woolen Clothes Distribu�onDrive at iden�fied places of the city. The ac�vity was carried out on account of performinga noble social cause.
