Newsletter 23 - 2018 Thursday 2 nd August Last Friday the Foundation Learning Community celebrated their 100 th day of school. They did many activities revolving around the number 100 including coming along looking like they were100 years old! A big thank you to the parents who did a fantastic job with the outfits – it was very hard to recognise some of the students! The staff in the Learning Community looked good too! There are some more photos of this special day at the end of the newsletter – see if you can work which Foundation students they are! Some of them are very tricky! I will put all the photos on the TV in the foyer if you would like to see all the great outfits. Thanks also to those parents who came along and joined in the activities. The Glenroy Central football team also had an exciting day last Friday when the played in the Moreland Cup. The team played against other primary school teams from the City of Moreland in a round robin game day. The previous day the team had played in the Divisional Finals after they won the Glenroy District premiership so they had a big week. This was the first year of the Moreland Cup so the team was very keen to participate and have been training at lunchtimes for many weeks. I congratulate all the players in the team, the coach Hanna as well as the many family members who went along to support them. It was definitely a team effort! For all the details see the last page of the newsletter. Remember - Every Day Counts! Have a good weekend Jo Money Principal
