• Workstations: Assume the use of existing workstations already in place. Gladiator consultants will be happy to work through this as needed. Click on the following links below to go to the JHA client portal for Xperience server and workstation specifications.
• Xperience can run in VDI, RDS, of Thick PC topologies - The FI can choose to implement the Xperience client with VDI, RDS, or thick PCs. All PCs running Xperience thick, must meet the minimum specs for Xperience. – Standard Xperience - requires 2 processors and 6GB or Ram– Power users or tellers - requires 4 processors and 8 GB RAM. – RAM requirements will vary based on the number of applications Xperience is
launching.

• VDI (Virtual Desktops) - VDI can extend the life of existing PCs because
the VDI client requirements are much lower. The HNS solution standard
client delivery model leverages VDI Horizon View virtual desktops.
Gladiator recommends VDI for performance, security, efficiency, disaster
avoidance, ease of deployment, and ease of use.
• VDI ONLY - View Client Minimum Workstation Requirements: 1 Processor (x86-based processor with SSE2 extensions) 800MHz or higher, 2GB of RAM (Preferably 4), Windows 7, 8 or 10 operating system (32 or 64 bit) and 500MB of additional storage for the Horizon View application.
• Most current tablets and smartphones should be able to run, the Horizon View client app available for download from the app store.

• Timing – Where is your FI with hardware amortization for
the existing platform?
• If your FI has recently made a large capital investment in network hardware or licensing you most likely will not want to throw it out and switch gears to HNS.

• When you look at cloud service providers, would you trust your
infrastructure to just anyone, or someone that has to meet the
same financial regulatory requirements as you do?
• Reduce the risk of IT compliance. We have to meet the same regulatory scrutiny as you, and we know our cloud services will pass the tests. General cloud service providers may not be prepared for the level of testing and scrutiny that is required.

• Disaster Avoidance – How would you recover your server
infrastructure in the event of a disaster at your bank’s operations
center? This would include a major event where the building is
unavailable or a minor event where you’ve only lost power.
• HNS allows our customers to significantly reduce the risk associated with on premise hardware. If a disaster occurs at the FI all their systems and data are safe in the JHA cloud. All you have to do is connect to us via VPN from where ever you relocate to or from your homes.

• Security – What is the security posture of your FI or other cloud
providers you may be looking at ? Would you trust your
infrastructure security to just anyone, or someone that has its
own nationally recognized security monitoring division?

• What happens if you have a hardware server failure at 2am, on
the weekend, or on a holiday? Would you like to get away from all
the headaches associated with on premise hardware?
• Reduce the risk of hardware failure. Get off the hardware hamster wheel of constant care and feeding, OS patching, hardware upgrades, break/fix, etc. Let Gladiator take the risk of supporting the hardware away while the FI still has their own environment that they can manage as much or as little as they want to.

when they are unavailable? Do you have significant turnover?
