To provide simple answers to everyday people with questions about the high tech devices that they own. The web site will also sell technology related accessories and products that carry our “puzzle free” seal of approval.

The Market

GijGaj will be focused on the most ignored market segment in the technology universe, the normal person. Most, if not all technology web sites are geared toward the enthusiast; that is the user who intimately familiar with their gadget of choice and is comfortable navigating jargon filled web sites for help with a problem of to find a review for an add-on or accessory. GijGaj will be different. Our articles, reviews, and technology recommendations will be structured to always focus on the average, everyday user.

The Potential

With the proliferation of smart phones, GPS devices, and family focused video game systems like the Wii, technology is now in the hands of all types of “non techy” people, who will inevitably have questions and will wonder which products are the best to buy. We will fill this need, providing answers, recommendations, and most importantly products, to a potential market size in the millions.

The Business

GijGaj will make money by selling “certified” products as well as from advertising revenue. As the web site becomes more popular with the target audience, it will become the place to go for easily understandable technology answers. With a large traffic and user base, the ability to make money through advertising will be steady and stable. This user base will also allow GijGaj to enter into strategic partnerships with product manufacturers, which will further increase revenue..

The Competition

Most technology focused web sites are blogs and focused mainly on the experienced user and the technology enthusiast, leaving the normal user without an alternative. There are, however, many web sites that sell the products and accessories that we intend to sell. What will make GijGaj different is that the products that we sell will be tested and certified by us for their ease of use and value.
