Felix Hagan & the Family are a seven-piece beast made of makeup, hairspray and rock and roll. They fuse punk, rock, pop and musical theatre into a seamless, high-energy blend of genres, all held together by masterful musicianship and an outrageous desire to entertain.

They came into being four years ago in the heart of Liverpool’s burgeoning musical scene. After moving to London, they honed their brand of theatre-pop over hundreds of gigs around the country, winning great acclaim for their insane live shows, consummate musical skill and total dedication to the audience. Plaudits have come from the likes of Ray Davies, Tom Robinson and folk-punk legend Frank Turner

After seeing them live, Frank invited them to play a high profile support slot, saying “Within about 30 seconds of them taking the stage, I was sold, a total convert, a newly-signed-up member of the cult.”

The slot opened new doors for the band and summer 2015 saw them perform at prestigious events such as Manchester Pride, Kendal Calling, 2000 Trees festival and Wilderness Festival.

Their most recent EP, Kiss the Misfits, was released in November 2015, receiving rave reviews from all quarters including Clash Music, Baeble Music and The Guardian. The EP is a declaration of intent from Felix and his band’s ongoing mission to cram British pop music with the exuberance and majesty of grandiose, flamboyant rock’n’roll. Featuring Felix’s sharp lyricism, the songs deal with typically dark subjects – depression, addiction, the loss of young dreams and the torpor of everyday life – but set them on fire in a joyous explosion of spectacle.

They will embark on an epic 21 date UK tour as main support for Frank Turner in November 2016, before releasing a new album in early 2017 to coincide with a headline tour.
