Introduction Ghyll Cottage, West Sussex, is an utterly charming 17th century two bedroom self catering cottage. Its location is set in the grounds of Ghyll Manor Hotel & Restaurant in Rusper, near Horsham. Ghyll Cottage is a modern yet traditional alternative for a short break or holiday, set across two floors, comfortably sleeping four guests; it has two bedrooms – one double and one twin - each sleeping two people, plus a sofa bed in the lounge. Your own private driveway and parking leads you to the cottage entrance downstairs where you’ll find the galley- style kitchen, leading through to a cosy lounge and dining area. Upstairs there’s one double bedroom complete with original exposed beams and a family bathroom. We look forward to welcoming you. If you have any queries or require any assistance please phone 01293 841 571 or email [email protected]. Pre-arrival We know you’re on holiday, and the last thing you’ll want to do is make a bed. So, we do it for you! All beds are made up ready for your arrival with all bedding provided including duvet covers & sheets, pillows & pillow cases. For longer stays of ten days or more, your bedding is changed once a week which is a complimentary service included in the price of your stay. • Towels: A set is provided for use during your stay, with enough for every person staying in the cottage. However if you do require any more this can be arranged and a supplement will be charged • Kitchen equipment: All cottages come fully equipped with everything you may need for a comfortable self-catering stay including enough crockery, cutlery, glassware for everyone in your cottage. You’ll also find a microwave, slow-cooker, hob, oven and fridge Please note, on rare occasions the Hotel and grounds will be unavailable for use due to an exclusive use wedding or private function. This will usually only apply to a Saturday and we will ensure we make you aware of this when you check in. This access statement does not contain personal opinions as to our suitability for those with access needs, but aims to accurately describe the facilities and services that we offer all our guests/visitors. At Ghyll Cottage, it is in our aim to make sure that we provide assistance in order to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. If you have any trouble or need help getting access to or into the Cottage, please dial (0) on the telephone for Reception and a member of the team will be able to assist. There is at gate at the end of the cottage garden, which gives you access to the hotel courtyard, should you wish to use this. This route is ground level and there is a slight step. We have a portable wheelchair ramp if required - call reception (0) and someone will set this up for you. We also have suctioned grab handles available to assist you in the bathroom. Dial (0) for reception and a member of staff will set up in the cottage, based on your requirements. If there is anything else we can do to help you in any way, please dial (0) for reception. Key collection, welcome and car parking

• Guests are invited to check-in at Ghyll Manor Hotel main reception, where we will escort you to Ghyll Cottage and direct you to your private parking space

• Parking is available on the front drive of the Cottage, additional parking is provided at the Hotel

• For the duration of your stay, you may use reception as your local information centre for attractions, walks and other places of interest in West Sussex. It is also where you can report any breakages, missing items from the inventory, maintenance issues and send or collect post

Entrance to property

• Ghyll Cottage has its own private driveway and garden

Halls, stairs, landings, passageways

• It is our aim to make sure we assist our guests’ needs where necessary. If you have any trouble or need assistance getting access to or in the Cottage please contact the Hotel main reception on the telephone in Ghyll Cottage and they will be able to help

• There is at gate at the end of the garden, which you have access to the hotel courtyard. This is all ground level and there is a slight step

• Please note that as an authentic Tudor beamed cottage, Ghyll Cottage has a mix of original features which includes low bearing ceilings / beams / uneven floors and a spiral staircase which may be difficult to negotiate for guests with difficulty walking

• The galley style kitchen is compact but has been well arranged for guest use.

• There is no freezer or washing machine, however laundry service can be arranged at the main Hotel

Bedrooms and sleeping areas

• Modern family bathroom• Two bedrooms – one double and one twin - each sleeping two people, plus a sofa bed in the lounge

• Master bedroom with a wooden sleigh bed• The twin room has two single beds at 36” x 75” - ideal for a child

• There’s plenty of storage throughout the Cottage, perfect for a comfortable long stay either as a business guest or family holiday

Bathrooms, shower-rooms and toilets

• The bathroom is well planned for use and has plenty of storage space

• Bath with fixed head and hand held thermostatic shower, to meet a range of requirements

• Heated tower rail

Garden

• Private enclosed garden with outside furniture• Gate to front driveway and gate at rear end of garden with access to Hotel courtyard

Additional information

• The added bonus of the use of the Hotel nearby; dinner, bed and breakfast options (and even room service) are also available

• Free WIFI is available in the Cottage• For the consideration of others, smoking is not permitted inside the Cottage

• Pets are not permitted in Ghyll Cottage
