Request For Proposal:
The Georgia High School Association is requesting proposal for the event merchandise contract that will be awarded for 2015-20.
The GHSA invites your company to submit a proposal by June 1, 2015 that includes financial terms, photos of display areas and t-shirt artwork design samples.

Scope of Work:
The selected company will be tasked with handling all design, production, event logistics, staffing and exclusive merchandise sales at 16 state championship events. See full list. One Act Play, Wrestling (Team & Traditional) and Literary are NOT part of the available events.

Georgia High School Association (GHSA) is composed of 450+ public and private schools, which compete in 18 sports and activities. For more information, go to GHSA.net.
Annual average annual gross merchandise sales for the GHSA from 2011-14 was $356,716. The current merchandise rights holder is TeamIP.
PROPOSAL
Merchandiser Will:
• Develop a distinctive line of apparel, which enhances the GHSA brand and stays current with design trends.
• Create digitized artwork for GHSA approval 3-4 weeks prior to each event.
• Hire, train and manage all contract personnel.• Display merchandise in a professional manner with table
drapes, display racks and printed signage with pricing.• Handle any customer complaints in a timely, professional
manner with a designated customer service contact.• Maintain an effective Website that allows for post-event
orders.• Provide an annual sales report following each scholastic
season. • Process and send payments to GHSA according to the
terms of the contract.
GHSA Will:
• Designate company as “Official Merchandiser of the GHSA”
• Promote company on GHSA.net licensing page with link to company Website.
• Cross-promote t-shirt artwork as the “event logo,” when appropriate on GHSA.net, print programs, newsletters and social media.
• Grant rights to all GHSA marks and logos with digitized artwork.
• Provide half-page ad space in football and basketball event programs.
• Make PA Announcements at all equipped venues where merchandise is sold.
• Coordinate the delivery of team and individual names for the back of the t-shirt for each event in a timely manner.
