Airtel (Rs. 10)Starting off with Airtel, being the very first to start this feature in the country, Airtel allows you to take aloan ofRs. 10 when you have balance less than Rs. 5. Below are the instructions you should follow toenjoy it on your prepaid connection:

Dial *141*10#. After that, you receive a menu with some options as listed below:

Reply with 3 (the option that says Take Advance Talktime / Ask for Talktime)

It will again show you 3 options. Reply with 1 (the option that says Take Rs. 10 advance talktime(main account)

It will again prompt you with a message that says “For Rs. 10, we will recover Rs. 12 and balance willbe recovered any time.“

Again reply with 1 and you will receive the loan within a few seconds.

Note that you’ve to pay back Rs. 12 on the next recharge.

Aircel (Rs. 10)Make sure you have the current balance below Rs. 10 and your Aircel prepaid account is at least 6months old. Now follow the below steps to get the loan:

1. SMS LOAN to 55414 (toll free)

2. Dial *414# and follow the instructions

3. Dial 55414 or 12880 and follow the instructions

Note that Rs. 12 will be deducted from your account next time you top-up your talktime.

Vodafone (Rs. 5-25)A few users know that Vodafone provides 3 types of balance loans on prepaid connections: Rs 5, Rs.10, and Rs. 25. And unlike Airtel, it allows you to take loan regardless of your current balance amount.That’s cool!

The simplest way to get a credit loan of Rs. 10 on Vodafone is to send an SMS to 144 with CREDIT inthe message body.

For a loan of Rs. 5 or 25, you need to call 1241 from your Vodafone prepaid and follow the instructionson the call.

Note that on the next recharge, you have to pay Vodafone Rs. 6 for Rs. 5, Rs. 12 for Rs. 10, and Rs. 28for Rs. 25 loan.

Idea (Rs. 4)You may take a talktime loan of Rs. 4 from Idea, but only when you satisfy the following conditions:

Your connection is at least 5 days old

Your recharge balance is Rs. 0-2

You have already paid the previous loan, if you took any

To get the loan, you need to dial *150*03# from your Idea prepaid number and follow the instructions.You’ll have to pay Rs. 5 next time when you recharge your balance.

Tata DOCOMO (Rs. 4)Tata DOCOMO has just started this facility since Feb 2015 and you may now get a balance loan of Rs.4, provided your DOCOMO connection is at least 3 months old and you have current balance below Rs.5.

To get the loan, dial the toll free USSD *369# on your DOCOMO powered mobile handset OR SMSLOAN to 369. Rs. 5 will be recovered from your account the next time you recharge.

Uninor (Rs. 5)Uninor prepaid customers may simply dial *141# to and follow the directions flashed on their mobilehandset to get the credits of Rs. 5 as loan.

Reliance India Mobile (Rs. 5-15)Reliance India Mobile allows its prepaid “Mobile” and “Hello” customers to enjoy credit loans from Rs. 5to 15under it’s VAS Simply Suvidha. To get the loan, sendYCR to 51234 and follow the instructionsthat will flash up on your mobile screen. Its a subscription-based service, so whenever you want to opt-out or unsubscribe from it, just send NCR to the same number i.e. 51234.

BSNL (Rs. 10)Being the eldest of all telecom providers in India, BSNL finally allows its users to ask for credit loanof Rs. 10. Send an SMS CREDIT to 53738 to get the loan, but make sure your current balance is lessthan Rs. 10 and more than NILL (0).

If you recharge your talktime within 24 hours, Rs. 10 will be deducted from your balance. Else 1 rupee

extra (net Rs. 11) will be deducted later.
